D & S Smith Haulage is a family owned transport company based in Tumby Bay on the Eyre Peninsula, South Australia. D & S Smith Haulage focus on providing a prompt, reliable service to their customers, whilst maintaining a high standard of safety and long list of accrediations.

D & S Smith Haulage have depot’s located in Tumby Bay, Port Lincoln, Roxby Downs and Angle Park (Adelaide). We also service the surrounding Eyre Peninsula area. D & S Smith Haulage have recently increased their interstate capacity, servicing Australia wide on a full load basis.
Fully Accredited
D & S Smith Haulage pride themselves on their high standard of accreditation. We are accredited for Mass and Maintenance Management, Basic Fatigue Management under the National Heavy Vehicle Accrediation Scheme, Truck Safe, Truck Care, WA Main Roads, Retail Logistics Supply Chain, Primary Produce Food Safety Cold Storage Meat distribution and Transportation.
1963
Lawrie Smith purchases a Ford D Series rigid truck to transport livestock on the Eyre Peninsula
1985
Lawrie and his son David grow the business of transporting livestock with a Ford D Series and Dog Trailer and a Ford D1000 with a Semi-trailer
1991
D & S Smith Transport is registered in 1991 and purchase their first Scania, an LB110
1995
D & S Smith Transport purchase another two Scania Prime Movers (an LBT111 and LKT111) and start transporting General Freight from Adelaide to Tumby Bay.
2002
In 2002, D & S Smith Haulage is created and the company slowly grows from 3 Scania Primemovers.
PRESENT
Today, D & S Smith Haulage run a mixed fleet of Scania, Volvo, Kenworth, Mack and Western Star and a total of 18 Prime Movers
